Unusual welcome home for the newly weds Lianne & David!
What a surprise!
Lianne and David returned from a week away in Mallorca to discover a bath full of balloons, roadworks outside and their cutlery individually wrapped in cling film.
The pranks have become a tradition among the couple’s friendship group, beginning in 2008, and getting more extreme each time. Dave, 31, and Lianne, 30, were married at Our Lady and St Patrick’s Church in Walton-le-Dale, with a reception here, at Beeston Manor in Hoghton.
Following their honeymoon, they discovered friend Chris Shaw and other pals had continued the custom at their house.

Beeston Manor would like to invite any brides-or-grooms-to-be to come along to our enchanting venue for our very popular open weekend of 2017!
The WHOLE venue will be dressed as a real life wedding so why not come down and have a sneak peak to see what your special wedding could be like?
You are welcome to come along on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th January 2017 between 9am - 8pm on both days.
There are no tickets required, and its free entry!
